Dance with me my love

From 2014 to 2022 I was obsessed with Birds, Ok not obbsessed but I really liked them, and they were my muse. I created fabric paintings of magpies, flamingos, peacocks, pigeons and many more. So when I got this big bag of fabric scraps and there was this sample of a black and white crane cotton canvas, I was smitten. Now I normally try and shy away from greys, because I love colour so much, but I had to use this fabric. So I created a button and the cranes and thier matting dance were the star of the show. I paired them with other high contrast black white and grey fabrics and might say No.4 is my faviorte button so far. I think I will have to do many more tonal pieces. Never say never I guess.
